Discounted Websites and Apps for Kids Clubs and Education

As you will probably know – we’re a social enterprise.

In the early days we were able to give all of our profits to the community, including free charity websites and 50% subsidies for start-ups, but as we’ve grown and opened our very own education centre, we’ve had to streamline our social activities.

We now give around 10% of our profits to charities, 40% to project subsidies and the remaining 50% goes straight to our local STEM education centre.

Discounted Rates

Our ethics mean that we always have the lowest rates out there. Even our standard rate for a senior developer is just £35/hour (compared to £106 local average) and our ‘honest promise’ policy means you only pay for the time used, even if it’s under the estimate provided.

Are you in education, or work with children? Great! Subject to availability and approval, your rate could be as low as £25/hour!

Our developers have 6 – 16 years experience and have worked on brands such as Animal, Audi, Mercedes, LV=, Monkey World and much more.

Take the next step

Send an email to telling us a bit about your project and what we can do to help. We’ll come back to you asap with a no-obligation proposal. Don’t forget to mention where you found out about us!

Chris goes to STEMnet training

As a social enterprise, one of the ways we want to give back is through our new children’s Science and Coding Club – Atom Club.

Our Founder Chris is off to RNLI college this afternoon to meet with STEMnet, an organisation set up to encourage children into the STEM subjects and do his STEMnet training.

STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Maths – there is a real shortage of UK children going onto study these subjects. The UK used to be the leader in Scientific Research, but is currently ranked 20 worldwide and makes a minimal contribution to space exploration (our passion).

The Atom Club has already partnered with the national Code Club and is currently raising funds for it’s first community project – a mobile planetarium.

Advertising Space left in Marnhull Messenger

As some of you may already know, our MD Chris is the editor of our local magazine – the Marnhull Messenger.

This 32-36 page A4 magazine gets delivered to every home in the village of Marnhull, plus some people nearby too (1070 copies, plus email distribution). The printed publication is black & white, but a colour web version is available along with an app version next year.READ MORE

Magento 2.0 Is Finally Here!

Magento is by far our favourite CMS when it comes to e-commerce. Sure, there’s a lot to be said for the simplicity of woocommerce, or shopify, but when you need enterprise quality e-commerce – Magento is the way to go. While you may hear complaints of how slow it is from customers, or how complicated it is from a developer new to the platform – if properly configured it can be quick, safe, secure and as flexible as you’ll ever need.READ MORE

How much does a website cost?

Pretty much every business NEEDS a website and certainly all of them could benefit from one. Whether it’s a large enterprise you run, or a market stall, you should use a website to help people find you, contact you and most importantly do business with you. However, one size most definitely does not fit all.READ MORE
